Position Description:

The Mathematics Department in the College of Natural Sciences and mathematics at the University of Houston expects to hire a Research Associate 1. The position will be for two years, with the possibility of a one year renewal. The successful applicant will conduct research in an area compatible with the research interests of the Mathematics Department. For this position we are especially interested in statistics and data analysis. In addition the successful applicant will teach one course per semester in our professional graduate program Master of Science in Statistics and Data Science.

Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Applied/Computational Mathematics with strong statistics background.
