The Center for Computational Mathematics and Applications (CCMA) in the Department of Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, is seeking scholars for postdoctoral appointments.

Successful candidates should hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or related field (such as statistics, computer science, physics and engineering). This position requires expertise in numerical methods for partial differential equations or data science with adequate programming experiences.

Appointed candidates will work closely with the faculty at the CCMA on research related to numerical methods for partial differential equations and/or data science. The postdoctoral scholar is expected to contribute to a number of research projects including those supported by the NSF, the DOE, and industries.

These appointments may include the possibility of teaching. This is a non-tenure track and a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-appointment for one or two more years.
