The Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University invites applications for two year postdoctoral position with an expected start date of August 16, 2021. This opening is in quantum groups, Hopf algebras, tensor categories, or representation theory. The position has a 2-1 teaching load and a requirement to be involved with mentoring undergraduate students in research through the Iowa State Math Research Teams (ISMaRT). A complete application will consist of a cover letter, a current CV, a research statement, a teaching statement, and three letters of recommendation (at least one of which addresses teaching).
