The Department of Mathematics is seeking applications to fill one or more non-tenure-track postdoctoral researcher positions. The positions will begin in the fall semester of 2021. Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral Researcher performs research in mathematics of a nature and quality leading eventually to publication of papers in research journals and/or advanced level books; maintains expertise; teaches mathematics at all university levels in a manner that is in keeping with departmental policy; participates in other educational and professional tasks of the department and university. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the mathematical sciences or a closely related field. A.B.D. candidates will be considered as long as the degree is conferred by August 15, 2021. Preferred Qualifications:
Research excellence as well as commitment to graduate and undergraduate education; outstanding candidates in all fields of the mathematical sciences will be considered.
