The NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences seeks to fill Clinical Faculty positions in mathematics at its Washington Square and Brooklyn campuses. The primary responsibilities will be:
- teaching and coordinating entry level courses through multivariable calculus and linear algebra
- training and evaluating new instructors and teaching assistants
- curriculum development and assessment
- other responsibilities related to the undergraduate program

Applicants must have a strong background in advanced mathematics, including a PhD in math or a math-related field, as well as experience in and knowledge about undergraduate teaching, learning, and curricular issues.

This Clinical Faculty position will not be a tenure-track position. These Clinical Faculty positions are typically 3 year contracts that are potentially renewable.
