The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is searching for an engaging, innovative educator who maintains a student learning-centered environment grounded in inclusive pedagogy. This nine-month, full-time, benefit eligible, non-tenure eligible Lecturer position in Mathematics is renewable annually contingent upon performance.

Job Description

• Teach a 4-4 load consisting of lower and some intermediate-level Mathematics courses, with the possibility of occasional upper level classes as needed.
• As part of the Mathematics faculty team, collaborate in programming, departmental work, and informal advising to cultivate student interest in further study of Mathematics.

Qualifications

• M.S in Mathematics; PhD in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, or related field by August 2021 is preferred. 
• A record of demonstrated application of current best practices in teaching Mathematics, and teaching and mentoring of undergraduates with diverse backgrounds, especially those from demographic groups under-represented in higher-education.
