The mathematics and statistics department at James Madison University includes approximately 50 full time faculty who are engaged in teaching and scholarship in a broad range of sub-disciplines, loosely grouped into pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education. We currently offer bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and statistics and minors in mathematics and statistics.
