The
Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for C.C. Hsiung
visiting assistant professor positions starting fall of 2021. These positions are intended for new or recent Ph.D.s with outstanding potential in research and excellent teaching. The teaching load is 3 courses for the year, typically 2 in the fall and 1 in the spring.
The initial appointment is for one year, normally renewable for a second year contingent on satisfactory performance in teaching and research.
The department welcomes applicants in any fields that complement our existing
areas of faculty research. Applicants should identify faculty who they might
work with. The College of Arts and Sciences at Lehigh is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
