About the Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS: Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences is the leading Russian research institute in mathematics. Steklov International Mathematical Center (SIMC) was established here in 2019 to advance the international activities of the Institute. The international postdoctoral program functions within SIMC. Steklov Mathematical Institute hosts around 135 researchers, who include recipients of the Fields Medal, Rolf Nevanlinna Prize, Claude E. Shannon Award, and the European Mathematical Society Prize, and 27 invited speakers to the International Congress of Mathematicians. There were invited speakers from Steklov Mathematical Institute at all ICMs since 1954.
