The Department of Mathematics, University at Buffalo, State University of New York, is accepting applications for two non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professors, effective August 2021. These two-year academic-year (10-month) positions are are intended for new or recent PhDs with outstanding potential in research and excellent teaching. The expected teaching load is one course per semester. Strong preference will be given to researchers who can work closely with one or more of our faculty members, and applicants are encouraged to specify with whom they would like to work.
