The CRM-PIMS summer school in Probability will take place at CRM in Montreal from May 24 to June 19 2021. The school is aimed at graduate students and postdocs working in Probability theory. Courses by Louigi Addario-Berry and Jean-Christophe Mourrat will be given in person (and streamed online). There will be opportunities to interact with other participants. Mini-courses by Sarah Pennington, Kavita Ramanan and Patricia Goncalves will be given (possibly remotely). We anticipate that a number of Canadian participants will be able to physically take part in the school. Selected participants will be provided with accommodation in Montreal for the duration of the summer school. All of this is contingent on many unknown variables to do with the progress of the pandemic and Canadian vaccination programs. To apply for support to participate in person, please submit a CV (including publications) and arrange for one letter of reference, through this ad on mathjobs. Applications must be completed by February 21, 2021 for full consideration. For further details about the school please see https://www.math.ubc.ca/Links/ssprob21 . We are committed to advancing representation of women and other under-represented groups, and encourage diverse applications. |
