The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a lecturer position in statistics. The appointment will be effective August 15th, 2021. Successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Statistics. Responsibilities include teaching five (5) classes each semester and participating in departmental activities. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to diversity, student learning, and inclusive pedagogy. A potential candidate’s consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of teaching experience, teaching in a coordinated environment, and experience with SAS and R.
