The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral position in Analysis, to begin in the fall term of 2021, pending budgetary approval. A Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences or a closely related discipline is required. We seek excellence in research in Analysis and in teaching. Knowledge and expertise in applications to Data Science, while not required, would be an added bonus. Applicants should supply: (a) a cover letter describing possible interactions with the Analysis faculty at the Department, and, if possible, but not required, a link to publications and preprints, (b) a CV, (c) a statement of research accomplishments and future plans. (d) a description of teaching interests, (e) a brief description of how your research, teaching or service demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and (f) at least three letters of reference.
