The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Utah State University invites applications for one or more positions of Visiting Assistant Professorship, for the academic year 2021-2022 (the number of positions is contingent upon available funding). These are one-year positions, renewable for additional years subject to funding and performance. The positions are open to applicants from all research areas in Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science. A Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field is required. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of research, teaching, and potential for collaboration with current faculty. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research synergy with our existing faculty and programs.
