The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Colorado College announces one or more one-year, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Mathematics or
Statistics positions to begin in August 2021. Visiting appointments may be renewed annually, depending on performance and staffing needs, resulting in a
maximum possible term at the college of four years. The department values both depth and breadth in the mathematical sciences. Applicants must be able to
teach a wide range of courses across the department’s mathematics curriculum.   Colorado College is a leading national liberal arts college with a distinctive academic calendar called the Block Plan, in which students take one course at a time.
The teaching load for this position will consist of five regular courses per year, plus a mathematics or statistics activity for students that is of
interest to the candidate. The college supports active scholarship via travel to conferences and internal grant opportunities.   The College is committed to increasing the diversity of the college community. Further, Colorado College is dedicated to the development of faculty and staff

mathematics, statistics, or related field is required, but ABD will be considered.   The department plans to hold phone interviews in March and invite one or more top candidates for on-line Zoom interviews in March or April 2021. Review of
