The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Lecturer position in mathematics to begin in fall 2021. Qualifications include a PhD in mathematics (completed or anticipated), and a commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment.

We seek candidates who have demonstrated potential for strong teaching at the undergraduate level, and who will be successful mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. Members of the department are active in both research and curriculum development, and resources are available to support conference travel and professional development. The teaching expectation is five courses per year, two in one semester and three in the other.
