Whittier College
The Whittier College Department of Mathematics & Computer Science is looking for a fixed-term Lecturer for the 2021-2022 academic year, beginning 8/24/2021. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, one- year appointment, with potential for renewal.
Candidates with expertise in either Mathematics or Computer Science are welcome to apply. A successful candidate will have earned a Math or Computer Science Ph.D. (ABDs may be considered) or an M.S. with significant college-level teaching experience or similar. Teaching experience is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include 1. Math courses primarily at the calculus level or below and 2. introductory computer science courses (Introduction to Computer Systems, Programming, and Data Structures).
