North Dakota State University invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics to begin on August 16, 2022.

The required qualifications are: a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics; a strong record or demonstrated potential for high quality research; evidence of and potential for effective teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate level; a commitment to departmental and university service; and effective oral and written communication skills.

Qualified applicants in any field of mathematics are encouraged to apply; however, candidates whose research area are consonant with research of faculty in the department will be given priority. Ideal candidates would complement our existing strengths, show promise as effective educators, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment within the department and at North Dakota State University.
