The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2022. Duties will consist of research and teaching in mathematics, as well as departmental service. A Ph.D., or equivalent foreign degree, in Mathematics or a related field is required. Successful applicants will carry outstanding credentials in mathematical research and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Complete applications must be received by November 15, 2021 to ensure full consideration, but review will continue until the position is filled. The University of Georgia is located in Athens, Georgia, which has a vibrant and engaging intercultural community.
