Position Summary The Department of Mathematics at SUNY Geneseo is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer to begin August 2022. The initial appointment is for one year, but it is a renewable appointment. The Department of Mathematics (16 full-time members) encompasses both pure and applied mathematics, as well as very strong secondary mathematics teacher preparation and actuarial programs. The Department offers a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, B.S. in Mathematics, B.A. in Mathematics, B.A. in Mathematics with Adolescence (Secondary Education) Certification, Minor in Mathematics, Minor in Biomathematics, and Concentration in Mathematics for Elementary Education. Mathematics is one of the largest majors on campus with over 220 majors, and we have one of the largest collection of minors with over 60 students minoring in Mathematics or Biomathematics.
