Saint Louis University invites applications for a permanent non-tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The position will begin in August, 2022. Applications received by January 14, 2022 will receive full consideration. Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related area is required. Duties include teaching three undergraduate courses each semester (10-12 credit hours) and regular professional meetings. The department encourages research collaboration and has research groups in algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, statistics, and mathematics education. The Department currently consists of twenty-four faculty members. We offer both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in mathematics at the undergraduate level and participate in the interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science program in Data Science. At the graduate level, the Department offers both the Master of Arts and Doctorate of Philosophy in mathematics.
