The School of Computing and Data Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology invites applications for several open-rank full-time faculty positions, beginning Fall 2022, in Applied Mathematics, to teach, to conduct research, and to serve the University. At least one of the positions is intended for a candidate with expertise in statistics or related areas. The typical teaching load is three 4-credit Applied Mathematics and/or Data Science courses in each of the Fall and Spring semesters, with opportunities for summer teaching. Although the primary mission of the faculty is teaching, they are also expected to engage in research and perform service to the University, such as advising, developing curricula, and serving on committees. About the School of Computing and Data Science The School of Computing and Data Science comprises faculty in Applied Mathematics as well as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Networking. We offer undergraduate programs in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Networking, and Cybersecurity, and have recently launched graduate programs in Data Science, Applied Computer Science, and Business Analytics.
