The section of Mathematics of the University of Geneva offers a two-year postdoctoral position in Probability and Mathematical Physics. The position can possibly be extended by one year. All candidates with a background in Probability or Mathematical Physics, and interested in working on the mathematical and physical aspects of Probability Theory, are encouraged to apply. The successful applicants will work in the group of Hugo Duminil-Copin, Antti Knowles, Stanislav Smirnov, Vincent Vargas and Yvan Velenik. The starting gross salary will be approximately 81'347 CHF per year. The positions come with a light teaching duty. Requirements Candidates must hold a PhD either in Mathematics, Statistics, or Theoretical Physics. The selection will be based on the excellence of previous scientific achievements and the quality of the scientific project. Start date The start date will be September 1st 2022.
