University Assistant (post doc) 
in Low dimensional Topology 

The research group of Professor Vera Vértesi at the University of Vienna seeks applications for a 2 year (with a possibility of extension by 1 year) postdoctoral position in the framework of the FWF project "Cut and Paste Methods in Low Dimensional Topology". Starting date is flexible, with starting time in March-Septemnber 2022. There are no teaching duties. Salary (approx. € 55.242,60) is calculated according to FWF salary rules.  

We are searching for a mathematician with a PhD and a strong and interesting research profile in Low dimensional topology,  in particular in Contact and Symplectic Topology and/or Heegaard Floer homology.
