The Department of Mathematics and Physical Sciences at The College of Idaho invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning Fall 2022. This is a long-term position filling a permanent need. Duties include coordinating multi-section service courses and teaching in both lower- and upper-division mathematics. The department seeks candidates with a graduate degree in mathematics or related field to join our community of active learners. Candidates from marginalized or underrepresented communities are especially encouraged to apply. The successful applicant should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate courses in a diverse liberal arts context.

A complete application includes • a cover letter • curriculum vitae • a statement of teaching philosophy that clearly articulates a commitment to liberal arts education and a demonstrated commitment to representation, inclusion, and equity (2 pages maximum) • three references, including at least one who can address quality of teaching in detail • graduate transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for now)
