A tenure-track position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics courses at the
undergraduate and graduate levels, carrying on an active research program, and engaging in service to the department and the university. Preference will be given to research areas
that are in line with the needs of the department or are compatible with existing faculty research areas, including analysis, differential equations, combinatorics, and data science. NAU

Minimum Qualifications
Completed PhD in Mathematics at the time of application.
Teaching experience at the college level that includes being an instructor of record for at least two different courses.

An active research program that is compatible with Department needs and existing faculty research areas, including analysis, differential equations, combinatorics, and data science; research that has the potential to leverage interdisciplinary collaborations across the University is desirable.
A strong mathematics background.
Evidence of potential to obtain external research grants
Evidence of high-quality teaching and commitment to student success.
An interest in mentoring undergraduate and graduate research.
The ability to teach a wide variety of courses.
Record of engagement with or commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in higher education.
