The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at St. Olaf College invites applications for full-time and half-time (6 course teaching load) positions in mathematics, to begin August 16, 2022. The positions will be for one year with potential for subsequent appointments, based on staffing needs and success in the first semester. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications must be submitted through http://www.mathjobs.org.

Position Description: A Ph.D. in mathematics is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered. Highest consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate level. All areas of mathematical expertise will be considered. St. Olaf’s Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Department is particularly interested in applicants who can and will advance the College’s goals for diversity, equity and inclusion.
