for Dynamical Systems and Geometry Research Assistant Professor (external job ad copy)
The Department of Mathematics
within the Eberly College of Science is seeking a new or recent Ph.D (no more
than 5 years after Ph.D.
defense) with exceptional research potential and a
commitment to excellence in teaching.
This non-tenure postdoctoral
appointment is sponsored by the Anatole Katok Center
for Dynamical Systems and Geometry and is a
limited term appointment funded for three years from date of hire with
excellent possibility of refunding.
The position
may include teaching 2-3 courses per academic year and provides
a competitive salary. This research sponsored program is
designed to maximize the professional development of its
participants and provides a research stipend.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus
Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of
1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety
Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies
concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use,
crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
