The Philipps-Universität Marburg places great importance on the intensive mentoring of students and doctoral candidates; therefore, a regular presence of the teaching staff is required.

We actively support an increase of the number of female professors and therefore we particularly encourage female candidates to apply. Applicants with children are welcome. The Philipps-Universität Marburg positions itself as a family-friendly university. In case of equal qualifications, preference will be given to people with disabilities in the context of the valid regulations. Application and interview expenses will not be reimbursed.
