A nine-month academic year position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the level of Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor with a focus in statistics. Responsibilities include teaching entry-level undergraduate statistics and mathematics courses. If appointed as Assistant Teaching Professor, in addition to the above, responsibilities may also include teaching advanced courses in statistics depending upon qualifications.
This position is non-tenure track, but renewable pending satisfactory job performance, availability of funding, and program needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Teaching experience at the college level.
For appointment at the rank of Lecturer, a Master’s degree in statistics or related field expected by August 22, 2022.
For appointment at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, a PhD in statistics expected by August 22, 2022.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
Completed Master’s or Doctorate degree in statistics at the time of application;
Strong academic record in statistics;
A record of teaching at the college level that includes being an instructor of record for at least two different statistics or mathematics courses.
Ability to teach a wide variety of courses.
Evidence of high-quality teaching and commitment to student success.
Record of engagement with or commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in higher education.
One or more of the following:
Interest or experience in teaching or coordinating multi-section courses.Interest or experience in mentoring undergraduate research.
Interest or experience in advancing curricular excellence through: improving pedagogy; developing courses or curriculum; or otherwise engaging in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
