This research associate (post-doctoral or visiting) position in pure mathematics at the University of Melbourne is funded through the ARC Discovery Project "Elliptic Schubert Calculus" with investigators N. Ganter, Y. Yang, G. Zhao, P. Zinn-Justin. This is a program which applies elliptic cohomology to geometric representation theory, enumerative geometry, integrable systems and invariants of singular varieties. The ideal candidate would bring in expertise complementing that of the investigators.
To be considered for this position you will have a PhD or equivalent research higher degree in mathematics and demonstrated research excellence with regard to career stage.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2.5 years.
