| Juniata College, a nationally ranked liberal arts college of 1600 students located in the scenic Allegheny Mountains of central Pennsylvania, invites applications for the one-year fixed-term position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics to begin August 2022. The position is for a one-year sabbatical replacement and the teaching load for this position will be around 21 credit hours for the academic year.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field at the time of appointment and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. We are looking for someone with demonstrated excellence as a classroom instructor who is able to offer a wide range of mathematics courses that include calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. Experience with the use of technology and the ability to teach statistics or data science courses is a definite plus.
