Haverford College is a leading liberal arts college located 9 miles from the center of Philadelphia. A successful candidate should provide strong evidence of effective teaching and an ability to contribute to the Haverford math curriculum at multiple levels, from introductory courses through senior thesis supervision. The cover letter should discuss the candidate’s specific interest in developing their teaching and research programs in an undergraduate liberal arts setting in the Philadelphia area.
