The Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington invites applications for an opening for a non-tenured, full-time Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin in September 2023. The appointment is for a renewable three-year term, with the possibility of promotion to Associate Teaching Professor. This position has a 9-month service period. Our goal is to recruit a strong candidate who will build a long and successful career that advances the teaching mission of the Department. Duties include teaching, related department activities (e.g., course coordination, supervision of teaching assistants), and departmental service. The teaching load is two courses on average for each of the terms in a nine-month academic year. The Department supports wide and diverse research interests and collaborations.

Qualifications 
Applicants are required to have a PhD or foreign equivalent, as well as three years of experience teaching applied mathematics.
