Research Topic: The position is located in the SFB Transregio 154, Subproject B01 "Adaptive Dynamic Multiscale Approaches" in the research area of Prof. Dr. Lang. The research activities deal with the development and convergence analysis of discretization methods for the quantification of uncertainties and probabilistic optimization on networks. Applicants should have a university degree (diploma or master's degree) in mathematics and have a very good knowledge in the fields of numerics and analysis of partial differential equations with uncertain data.
