| The National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) Mathematics Division invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellows starting appointments in the fall of 2023. The NCTS is an international research center in mathematics and theoretical physics, supported by the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan and the National Taiwan University. It aims to be a research center of excellence and hosts several onsite scientific activities in the form of international conferences, workshops, seminars, short courses, and summer/winter schools every year. Description
The fall appointment starts from August 1, 2023. The duration is 1 to 2 years and is extendable up to a total of 3 years. In principle, an NCTS postdoc is expected to reside in the Center in Taipei. The NCTS will consider applications from all research areas in mathematics, however, priority will be given to applicants working in a field closely related to one of the NCTS Topical Programs:
• Number Theory and Representation Theory
• Algebraic Geometry
• Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis
• Differential Equations and Stochastic Analysis
• Scientific Computing
• Interdisciplinary Studies
