The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics, invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position. Preference will be given to candidates who conduct research in mathematical, statistical, and/or computational aspects of financial mathematics. Outstanding candidates at all academic ranks will be considered. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields, and will be expected to establish a strong, independent, multidisciplinary, and internationally recognized research program. Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required.

Opportunities for interactions across the University include: the Mathematical Institute for Data Science, the SNF Agora Institute, the Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
