VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS, DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS, UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO, SUNY

The Department of Mathematics, University at Buffalo, State University of New York, anticipates the appointment of three non-tenure-track visiting assistant professors, effective August 2023. All of these positions are for two years, and are intended for new or recent PhDs with outstanding potential in research and excellent teaching. The teaching load is one course per semester. Preference will be given to researchers who can work closely with one or more of our faculty members. Applicants are strongly encouraged to specify with whom they would like to work.

Candidates should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a summary of their research program, a description of their teaching experience and three or more letters of reference, one of which supports the applicant's effectiveness as a teacher.
