Located in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, jointly founded by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). Job Description Candidates
with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Job Requirement Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Proficiency required in one or more of analytical tools such as R, Python, Matlab, or SAS. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who can undertake independent research leading to outstanding outcomes, including publications in high quality international-refereed journals.Research experience on Statistical modeling (Regression, Classification, Time-series forecasting) /Machine Learning /Deep Learning/Text Mining /Optimization /Visualization are desirable. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.
Benefits Salary
will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe

Appointment Terms Appointment
to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years.
Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual
agreement.
