The positions will be filled at the University Teacher, University Lecturer, or Senior University Lecturer level of the Aalto University lecturer career system. The positions are full-time and either fixed-term or permanent depending on the candidates’ experience. The positions have competitive salaries, and the employment contracts include occupational health and retirement benefits. Job requirements

For the two positions in Operations Research and Statistics, no Finnish proficiency is required.

Applicants will be reviewed based on their teaching credentials, pedagogical training and merits, ability to teach, and research achievements as well as activity in the scientific community in relation to their career stage. The central requirements include the ability and enthusiasm to teach relevant courses on the bachelor’s and master’s levels and to instruct theses. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for site visits to present and discuss their teaching and research with the faculty of the department. The evaluation of the applicants follows principles of the Aalto University lecturer career system.
