Ph.D. Position in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Modeling, and Scientific Computing, Florida Tech An opening for a graduate (Ph.D.) student is anticipated in Dr. Bukshtynov’s research group at the Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) starting in January (preferred) or August 2023. The focus of this position will be research on mathematical and computational modeling of physical and biomedical processes that occur in bioprinted grafts while pursuing their optimal design to promote tissue vascularization. This position is intended for a student with a strong background in applied/computational mathematics, mathematical modeling, optimization as well as scientific computing interested in exploring rapidly developing application areas in various medical applications. This Ph.D. position will be supported by the GSA/TA (graduate student or teaching assistantship) contract and/or research assistantship subject to the performance in both research and the course load.
