The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder is currently seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank in theoretical computer science, broadly defined. Associate and Full Professor ranks may be considered for qualified candidates. Computer Science is the fastest growing and largest department within the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The department is home to 50 tenured and tenure-track faculty plus 25 instructional faculty and now hosts over 2,000 undergraduate and 500 graduate students. The CS Theory group researches all aspects of theoretical computer science, from core areas such as algorithms, complexity, and cryptography, to connections with other fields such as machine learning, algebraic geometry, economics, dynamical systems, biology, and control theory. Qualified candidates will be considered for Associate or Full Professor appointments. The salary range is $120,000 - $180,000 dependent on rank.
