Positions Available: One assistant professor (female only). Term of employment: 5 years (reappointment is possible only once after examination, and the term of office after reappointment is 3 years). Work contents: Research and teaching in the Department of Mathematics, Graduate School of Science. Qualifications: 1.The candidate must be female. 2.The candidate must have obtained a doctoral degree by the time of appointment and must be within 7 years of obtaining the degree. 3.The candidate should be able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and be able to supervise the research of graduate students. In addition, the candidate should be able to contribute to the management of the department. 4. The candidate should be able to give courses in Japanese or English. From the third year of appointment, she is requested to give courses in Japanese. 5.The candidate should not have any other job at the time of appointment. Trial period: 6 months. Salary and allowances: based on Kyoto University's payment standards. Social insurance: MEXT Mutual Aid Association, Employees' Pension, Employment Insurance, and Workers' Accident Compensation Insurance. Research Area: Mathematics. Date of Appointment: As soon as possible after April 1, 2023. Deadline for Application: December 23, 2022, 23:59JST. (2) List of publications (circle three major publications). (3) Research to date and future research plans (approximately 3 A4 or letter-size pages in total). (4) Teaching statement. (5) If Japanese is not your native language, supply at least one of the following: (i) documents proving your Japanese language ability (e.g. a copy of a JPLT result), (ii) a letter of recommendation from a Japanese-speaking mathematician about your Japanese proficiency. (6) Three major papers.
