Job Description

The Department of Mathematics of Siena College, Loudonville, NY, invites applications for a one-year, renewable, teaching assistant professorship, beginning Fall 2023.

Job Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates with expertise or strong demonstrated interest in Mathematics Education. A doctoral degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related fields is expected by August 2023. The successful candidate will be expected to teach college-level mathematics courses and be involved in service such as mentoring our math education students, coordinating and administering our calculus placement exam, and assisting with developing a college-wide mathematics center. Teaching load reduction will be awarded for the above service activities that occur during fall and spring semesters. There will be additional compensation for the summer component of the placement coordination.
