The College of Arts & Sciences at Dakota State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics.

The start date of this position is Fall 2023.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field is required. Ability to teach undergraduate students. Ability to develop a strong and active research agenda. Effective written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will be expected to teach a variety of mathematics courses, both face-to-face and on-line, at the general education and upper division levels. Researching and publishing relevant scholarship. Active pursuit of grant and funding opportunities. Additional duties may include advising students, serving on university committees, assisting with recruitment activities and/or engaging in ongoing assessment.
