The Department of Pure Mathematics at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship to begin on July 1, 2024. The duties are to engage in research activities within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. The salary will be $60,000 CAD with two courses per year of teaching. Research areas are in pure mathematics, with special interest in Non-Commutative Probability, Number Theory, Arithmetic Statistics & Analytic Theory, Set Theory, Operator Algebras, Algebraic geometry, Geometry and Topology. Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests and expertise fit within one of the research groups in the department and whose application is supported by a potential supervisor in the department.
