To develop our team in the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics’ programme, we are looking for a: Lecturer for the module «Algebra» 12 ECTS (21,6 %) The teaching language is English, and the module takes place during each spring semester Start of work: 1st February 2023 Your tasks: Conducting the module M11 «Algebra» Development of the module content and of the teaching scenario Providing of online resources and material on our teaching platform Support of the students and follow-up during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant Organization of exercise classes and lectures during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant Your profile: You have a strong background in teaching at university level, experience in distance teaching is an asset You have a PhD in mathematics You can demonstrate recent research activities in a field of mathematics related to algebra You are fluent in English (teaching language) and ideally have knowledge of German and/or French We offer: A teaching assistant position at 60 % associated with the module A modern pedagogical approach in an innovative academic environment An active research environment in mathematics Comprehensive training and support A modern and dynamic working environment Collaboration within a motivated team We look forward to receiving your application by email no later than 30 November 2022, to Human Resources: jobs@unidistance.ch.
