Position Description The Department of Statistics in the Physical Sciences Division at the University of Chicago invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor. This search is in the area of computational and applied mathematics (CAM). The successful applicant will be appointed in the Department of Statistics and become a member of the Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics, joining other Statistics faculty who support the PhD and MS programs in CAM at the University of Chicago. The University of Chicago has the highest standards for scholarship and faculty quality, is dedicated to fundamental research, and has an inherently interdisciplinary structure that is very supportive of newly emerging research opportunities, and joint appointments may be made with another department in the University. 
Qualifications 
A PhD in applied mathematics, mathematics, statistics, or related field to computation and applied mathematics, and at least one year of teaching experience as an instructor of record.

- A list of three references, including name, contact information, and position. 
- At least 1 publication, up to a maximum of 3
