The Engineering Systems and Design Pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications to its Ph.D. program. SUTD is the fourth autonomous and public university in Singapore, founded in 2009 in collaboration with MIT to create a leading university in design, engineering, technology, and architecture. The ESD Ph.D. program aims to produce the next generation of leading engineering systems researchers and thinkers. 
 Candidates interested in the theory and/or practice of business analytics, optimization, probability, stochastic modeling, game theory, and economics are encouraged to apply. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with ESD faculty members on important applications including manufacturing and service operations, transportation and logistics, environment and sustainability, service systems, energy systems, telecommunication systems, financial systems, healthcare, security, social networks, and, supply chains to mention a few.
