The University of Arkansas Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for several Visiting Assistant Professor positions to begin in August 2023. These are nine-month appointments for three years. The teaching load is four courses per year. Preference will be given to candidates who are recent PhDs, with evidence of enthusiasm for teaching, and whose research interests are compatible with those of the faculty. The application package should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research, teaching and diversity statements. Applicants should also arrange for three or more letters of recommendation, at least one of which addresses the applicant's teaching experiences and capabilities.
